Yannick was born on Friday, May 16, 1969 in Montreal, Quebec Canada. Yannick moved to Toronto as a teenager where he began his acting career. He appeared in television commericals, and later was cast as the lead in the movie-of-the-week called "Hockey Night" with Rick Moranis. This movie was shown only in Canada. He continued guest-starring in other tv shows. He was cast as the lead in "High Tide" for 4 seasons, this show was also only shown in Canada. He had a recurring role in Showtime's "Soul Food" in which he played a lawyer. I believe "Soul Food" series has ended.  He was also in the movie "The Day Reagan Was Shot" with Richard Dreyfuss. He now plays Jack Hudson on Sue Thomas F.B. Eye for two seasons. I hope the success of Sue Thomas will continue for a long time to come.

Not only is he an accomplished and extremely talented actor, he also co-owns a gym with his wife called Studio 4 Tae Bo Fitness Center in Toronto, Canada. He really enjoys playing All-American FBI agent Jack Hudson. No one else can play Jack Hudson better than Yannick.

He loves watching spy movies as a kid and immersed himself in cop shows like Chips, Hill Street Blues, Simon & Simon, etc. And working on Sue Thomas with the rest of the cast members is a dream come true for Yannick.

"I must be so much more aware and conscentious of my communications with everyone in order to be sensitive."

"I find it interesting that even without hearing Deanne and Troy can be front and center of a group and communicate their humor completely."

"In spite of someone's rough edges and quirky behavior, their heart is often in the right place. But it may take some extra effort on your part to see how wonderful they may truly be inside and out."

"Overcoming obstacles in life and sort of making it all happen in one show, it's a lot of fun and it's a little different than anything I've ever done, I'm really enjoying it."

I think Yannick is right. This is something to keep in mind the next time someone gets on your nerves. Just because they are different from you doesn't mean they don't possess a few admirable traits to learn and accept them for who they are.

You know what they say "never judge a book by it's cover". So never judge a person based solely on their personality or looks alone, you have to dig deeper than that to find the genuine person inside. After all, there are many layers and finding out each layer is part of the mystery of falling in love with someone.

The following is one of the best romantic stories that I' have ever heard of how a couple met for the very first time. This is the romantic side of Yannick back when he was still a teenager. And it all started for them just reading for audition together for an ad. What do you know, sometimes it really is a small world after all. Thanks to Yannick for sharing this with his fans.

The first time I ever saw Shantelle, I was 15 and so was she. She worked in a Baskin Robins and my friend Bruce introduced us. I almost fell over. I made a mental note right then that IF I were ever to get married, somewhere WAAAAYYY down the line, I would have to find a girl like her, because there was no way SHE would ever be interested in me.

She wasn't.

18. I'm out on a Pepsi audition and guess who strolls in? Lady Godiva and she says to me; "Oh, sorry I kept you waiting". I havn't seen her in 3+ years. I'm thinkin': "Who does she think she is?" I must have had a strange look on my face because she said: "Didn't they tell you? We're reading for this ad together and playing boyfriend and girlfriend" Einstein: "You're an actress?" Godiva: "Yeah, have been for years. We are with the same agent. Didn't you know?"

Well I never did get that ad.

But I got the girl

All the best ,

YB
