Chapter 6: Destination-Victoria Palace Hotel

The team registers at the hotel and canvas the area around it. Jack wears a white sport shirt and black slack. Then Jack shows Linda’s picture to the concierge. He says she looks a lot like Hannah Hampton. She lives in the grand penthouse suite Room 1036. Jack asked the concierge, does Hannah have a little boy?

Concierge: Yes, I think he is 8 years old. He likes baseball and football. Sad what happened to him.

Sue: What do you mean?

Concierge: Danny I think that’s his name, he was kidnapped 3 hours ago. A witness said he saw a tall blonde woman take Danny and they left in the limo. That’s all I know.

Jack: Thank you, you’ve been very helpful. Let me know if you see the witness again.

Sue: So Jessica was right about her dreams.

Jack: Yeah, I know. I just hope we find Danny before it’s too late. Let’s go talk to Hannah Hampton.

There’s a knock on the door. From inside, Hannah asks who’s there.

Jack: FBI, open the door. We are here to talk about Danny. We want to help find him.

Hannah: I don’t want any trouble. I just want my son back.  Thinks about it, and then opens the door. She says hello, do you know who kidnapped Danny?

Jack: No, we are hoping you would tell us. Do you know a man named Eduardo Sanchez? Is he your ex-husband?

Hannah: Yes, I do. He is a very bad man. No, he’s not my ex-husband. I never married the man. My cousin, Amber did posing as me.

Sue: What? I don’t understand.

Hannah: Beautiful dog, is he yours?

Sue: Yes, Levi is my hearing dog. I’m deaf and I work with Jack at the FBI. We can help you if you tell us what we need to know.

Hannah: There’s not much I can tell you about him. I didn’t know him personally except for his reputation as a ruthless businessman.

Sue: I think you know more than you are telling us right now. Did the kidnappers ask for a ransom, how much?

Hannah: No, they don’t want money. They want something else.

Sue: If you tell us your story, we will be able to find Danny quickly before he gets hurt.

Jack: She’s right. You have to trust someone, let it be us. Tell us about Eduardo Sanchez & Sean Balitran.
