He is reading a report dated 5 years ago when Balitran name first appeared on the dossier. 5 years ago, President James Harrington ordered then Patrick O’Reilly and 7 other special operatives including an MI6 operative to go into war torn Balkans to defeat the rebels there. As it turns out, Patrick O’Reilly was the only one who survived the mission ordered by the President. However, it appears that, Balitran who was working for MI6 at the time of the Balkans mission was captured and tortured. He did survive and now wants revenge against the President of the
Sean Balitran a.k.a. the leader of Brothers of Shadows; called the President to tell him that he wants a list of names of U.S. operatives overseas or as he calls them U.S. spies in Europe, Asia, and other countries. He has threatened to once again circulate the Souza virus if he doesn’t get the list of names by his deadline. Mr. President you have exactly 48 hours to compile with my orders. Furthermore, he told the President that he has 13 vials ready to spread terror and deadly harm to the citizens of US in all major metropolitan cities next day. This is no bluff, I am deadly serious.
Next, Balitran calls Eduardo Sanchez to ask about the shipment of Russian one man portable launch shoulder missiles or Iglas as they are known. Eduardo Sanchez tells him not to worry everything is going according to his plan. What Balitran doesn’t know is that Eduardo Sanchez has his own agenda. Eduardo Sanchez wants to find out where his missing wife and son have been for the past 10 years. Linda has something that Eduardo Sanchez wants back and will kill to have it back if necessary.
At Victoria Palace Hotel - Hannah wakes up and hears Danny crying. She runs to his room, turns on the light, but he isn’t in bed. She calls out Danny, Danny, where are you? She checks the bathroom, the doors, under the bed, everywhere. She still can’t find Danny. Then she looks at the window and sees that it has been cut. Oh no, someone came in here and took Danny. Oh my god, what do I do now? I have to call the French authorities. Tell them Danny has been kidnapped. Before Eduardo Sanchez’s men take Danny away and kill him because of me.
Someone has taken Danny. Whoever that person is must work for Eduardo Sanchez. But how the heck did he find where I am? I was so sure we would never be found. The only person who knows where I live is my friend, Chloe Johnson. I’ll call her and she will help me find Danny before Eduardo Sanchez can get his filthy hands on my little boy. Hannah calls Chloe Johnson, gets her answer machine, tries her cell phone but get only her voice mail. Unable to reach her, Hannah sits down on the sofa and cries. After Hannah calls the French authorities, they check out her hotel suite and canvas the neighborhood.
Who is Chloe Johnson? Is she living a double life? What is her connection to Sanchez and Balitran? The spy tells him we are going on a trip. You like trips right, little man? He nods yes. He is afraid of what she might do if he doesn’t listen to her. Then they get in the limo and drive off. She blindfolds Danny and tells him it will be over soon. Where are they going and who will the spy meet: her boss, her brother, or her husband?
