Chapter 10: The Spy Unmasked

Jack: I will. Bye. Goes to the other room, and tells the team what he learned from Jessica. Tara, I want you to track down any beach houses in the vicinity, and check out Saint Gabriel to see if there’s a connection there. I want to know if Balitran or Chloe owns that property.

Hannah: Did you say Chloe?

Jack: Yes, I did. Jessica told me that a woman name Chloe took Danny and they are with Balitran at a beach house.

Hannah: But that can’t be. I know a woman name Chloe Johnson. She is my friend. She would not hurt me or Danny. It can’t be her.

Jack: We’ll find out soon enough. Jack thinking: Sometimes you just gotta get lucky.

D. and Myles walk in the door: We’ve got a description from Henry, the witness about the spy. It’s not perfect but it will do once Tara works her magic.

Jack: Let me see that. That’s her; she is the woman Jessica saw with Balitran in her dream. She is the mole we are looking for.  I’m sure of it now.

Patrick O’Reilly: I just got off the phone with the President. What is going on?

Jack: Chloe Johnson just might be the spy who sent us on the wild goose chase.

Patrick O’Reilly: Are you kidding? Chloe Johnson is no spy; she worked for me at CTA up until 3 months ago. She had to leave because of her family problems. There’s no way she would consort with the enemy.

Jack: I’m telling you what Jessica told me on the video conference. She is sure that Chloe and Balitran are together at a beach house planning a full-scale assault as we speak.

Bobby: Let me get this straight. Patrick and Hannah know this Chloe Johnson. And you both don’t believe that Chloe could be a spy. But Jack thinks she is.

Wes: I taught Jack well. And if Jack says Chloe is the spy, Patrick you should listen to him. And it seems to make sense to me anyway. Hannah, if you think about the fact that you trust Chloe, then who better to take care of Danny when you are not around. So if she is working with Balitran who better to take Danny and not be suspected of doing so. Patrick, she must have lied to you about her family problems when she decided to leave CTA.

Myles: What was Chloe Johnson working on at CTA if you don’t mind my asking?

Patrick O’Reilly: She was one of my top analysts. She worked on confidential and highly classified Intel. Some of them are eyes and ears marked for only the President would know about.

Jack: So somehow while working at CTA, she met up with Balitran and must have swap sides.

Patrick O’Reilly: I don’t believe this. I trusted her with top secret government Intel. She is a traitor to United States. She betrayed our country and for what, money or power?

Wes: Unfortunately, the only person who can answer that question is Chloe herself. She should be hanged for treason. But that’s just my own opinion.

Tara: It seems that what everyone is saying about Chloe Johnson is true. I’m pulling up her file and you all can read it on the screen to confirm. Stanley and I looked at hundreds of websites and we finally found Premier Imports.com As we dug deeper we found this surveillance of Danny leaving with Chloe. I’m sorry, Hannah.

Hannah: Oh my god, it’s true. Now, I’ll never get Danny back.

Jack: Yes, you will. We are going to find Danny. And put Chloe and Balitran away for life. I personally guarantee that! Sue, look at the surveillance tape and see if you can find out where Chloe and Danny are going. Maybe they headed straight to Balitran.

Sue: I could only make out it will be a nice trip for you little man. That’s all Chloe said.

Jack: Well, Chloe is smart enough not to drop any hints to her whereabouts. That’s for sure.

Tara: Listen, everyone. I found 4 possible beach houses in either Calais, in Rouen, in Orleans, or in Reims; one of them is Balitran hideaway.

Jack: Anyway to narrow it down which one, can we distinguish palm trees and clear blue ocean water, sandy beaches below, overlooking a bluff? Can you get a satellite uplink to the area without tipping Balitran off?

Patrick O’Reilly: Jack’s right. We have 16 hrs and 43 minutes to find Balitran before the President has to hand over the list of names.

Tara: Yes I can. Give me a minute. Double checking, yes, I’ve got it. The beach house we are looking for is in Calais, France.

Patrick O’Reilly: Are you sure? I don’t want to get there and have them escape again.

Tara: Yes, I’m sure. GPS device has a 3 miles radius of where it is picking up a signal: at Rue de Passy & Rue de Mirabeau.

Patrick O’Reilly: Which means Balitran could be on the move. We’ve got to hurry and stop this madman.

Jack: Okay. This is it. We split into two teams again. Go to the beach house and surround the place. Make sure Balitran can’t get out unless he gives himself up.

Myles: Don’t forget the lovely Miss Chloe Johnson. Or should I say, a.k.a. Dragon Lady who breathes fire and plays well with terrorist.

Bobby: Right. I will be happy to take her down.

Hannah: Bobby, she has a black belt in karate and she also does kickboxing.

Bobby: That doesn’t scare me. (laughs)

Patrick O’Reilly: Let’s move out. We can discuss how to take down Balitran when we get there.
